Field Research Revealed What Really Mattered
We shadowed sales representatives on actual customer calls. Our UX Designer watched how they navigated materials, what prospects asked, and where the process broke down. We led discovery workshops with stakeholders and analyzed existing sales materials to identify gaps.
We initially assumed custom slide creation would be the most valuable feature—giving representatives flexibility to build presentations on the fly. Watching sales calls in rural Wisconsin and Michigan revealed something more critical: representatives needed tools that worked without internet. Spotty connectivity meant any cloud-dependent solution could fail mid-presentation with a qualified prospect.
That insight led us to Progressive Web Apps. A PWA delivers consistent performance across devices without requiring separate native app versions. It works flawlessly offline and syncs automatically when connection returns. No app store approvals. No version fragmentation.
