A growing number of well known news and lifestyle print publications have been making a comeback, and we’re already seeing the recent waves of resurgence from last year gain some powerful momentum with audiences old and new. Resurgences like this open the door for more brands to reintroduce, reintegrate, and help their audiences fall back in love with print and other traditional marketing mediums that may have fallen to the back burner.
In the year ahead, we’re excited to see how print media will continue to re-enter and revitalize the creative marketing industry and to find new ways to bring its tactile and nostalgic charm back into the spotlight for our clients as well.
As a creative agency, we are major advocates for disruptive marketing efforts not only because they’re proven to be more memorable and effective, but also because they’re just more fun! From big household names like CeraVe and Liquid Death to smaller organizations and even B2B brands like HubSpot, we’re seeing more and more businesses of all sizes embrace the art of playful creative, messaging, and engagement efforts — and, much like their audiences, we’re absolutely loving the lighthearted tone shift and eager to see more in the year ahead.
One of our goals for 2025 is to continue helping B2B brands stop taking themselves too seriously. As far as we’re concerned, there are very few brands who wouldn’t benefit from letting loose and seizing the opportunity to do what we all wish we could do more often: play!

While the advent of machine learning is still in its infancy, it’s also undeniably in full swing. As a result, an overwhelming amount of new tools, technologies, and digital tactics are popping up seemingly — and sometimes literally — overnight.
AI will inevitably keep expanding in the following year. At CID, we acknowledge it can be helpful in streamlining our processes and expediting, but it is still no substitute for human ingenuity. We’re looking forward to seeing these technologies continue to evolve, but we’re also hopeful that like us, more brands will also prioritize investing in the growth of their people — not just in new platforms.
