We are very fortunate here at CI Design to have a wide variety of clients that provide amazing products and services that make a difference in people’s lives (and livelihoods) every day. We’re especially fortunate that some are pivoting their business models, and offering support for their industries and communities to help in any way they can during the Coronavirus pandemic. Here are some of their stories.
Agam is a Maryland-based manufacturer of structures used in trade shows, semi-permanent exhibits, and retail environments, including in-store clinic spaces at pharmacies or big-box retailers. With trade shows on hold, they’ve quickly adapted their business to meet the moment by adapting their production of temporary clinic space to create temporary hospital rooms. Agam has already shipped hundreds of units of the new temporary hospital rooms to healthcare providers around the country in need of safe and secure field hospitals and healthcare spaces where people are being treated and tested for COVID-19.
Metal-Era, a manufacturer of high-quality roofing materials, has been hard at work helping to ensure the safety of frontline workers at places like hospitals, grocery stores, drive-thru restaurants, utilities, military bases, and more by providing essential products to critical infrastructure projects.
Rite-Hite’s Duct Sox product offers safe air dispersion for temporary shelters. The need was immediate as healthcare providers sought to separate COVID-19 patients and conserve as much PPE as possible by limiting the number of staff members required at hospital tents. Rite-Hite was able to make Duct Sox a top priority, manufacturing and delivering the critical equipment in a matter of days.
As a manufacturer of foodservice equipment, Vollrath is a vital partner to many within the restaurant industry. They’re using their platforms online to show their solidarity with foodservice professionals who have been hit hard by closures. In recent podcast episodes, the company has highlighted chefs working to support their communities while quickly adapting their own businesses to our current pick-up & delivery-only world, and talked in-depth about what food safety looks like now and in the future.
We’re inspired by the good work our clients are doing without hesitation to keep team members employed and help people through this crisis. We’re proud to be working alongside them as we all get through it together.
